The BBC One ‘Oneness’ idents are a set of on-screen channel identities used on BBC One from 1 January 2017 to present. The idents feature groups of people doing activities in everyday life, with the aim of the showing them coming together in these various ways. The logo is now placed at the bottom of the screen instead of the middle.

Street photographer Martin Parr was commissioned by BBC One to create the idents. The ‘Oneness’ theme had first been exhibited the previous Christmas for the channel’s identity, hence giving the impression that those idents ultimately served as a preview to the new look that made its full launch on New Year’s Day 2017. Around 20 idents are expected to be filmed, which will be gradually introduced one-by-one over the course of the first year.

BBC One “Christmas idents 2016” by BBC Creative

The eight spots featured the fans introducing their favourite programmes. Those who took part were found at fan events via social media and from ads placed on the shows’ websites.

Among those chosen for the project were corgi dog lovers for the Queen’s Christmas Broadcast ident, a group of expectant mums for Call The Midwife and East End market traders for EastEnders.

As it has done in years past, YouTube has launched an outdoor and digital advertising campaign to spotlight various members of its creator community — this time in the UK. Dubbed #MadeForYou, the campaign celebrates 18 diverse creators whose channels range from science to spoken word poetry.

The campaign also serves to signify that close to 200 channels in the UK have over 1 million subscribers, according to YouTube. The 18 creators featured in #MadeForYou — including TomSkaKaushal BeautyCaspar LeeColin FurzeScola DondoTanya BurrVikkstar123Cupcake JemmaOli WhiteHumza ArshadSuli BreaksLouise PentlandPatricia BrightJoe SuggDina TokioEmma BlackeryBubzBeauty, and Marcus Butler — boast a collective 48 million subscribers.

#MadeForYou was developed by YouTube and global ad agency We Are Social, and will celebrate each creator’s different passions with video spots in 275 movie theaters, digital escalator panels in tube stations, bus shelter takeovers, and bus wraps. (For the first time, YouTube says it will use its TrueView ad technology to ensure that ads played in movie theaters will match the preferences of audiences.) Digital ads will also run on Google properties as well as The TelegraphTime OutVICESkyChannel 4ITV, and Mashable.

Pogba Capsule Collection

A 60″ launch film for the debut capsule collection from adidas and Paul Pogba.

With this spot, the world’s most expensive footballer revealed his new Adidas collection to the world. Combining streetwear and stadium gear, the Paul Pogba capsule collection is an extension of Pogba’s personal style that also bridges the gap between football and lifestyle.

For this project, Stink Studios were tasked with first developing the creative and then delivering an integrated shoot. The production generated a hero film, print assets for the lookbook, and additional assets for social. The majority of the edit and post work was done in-house.
